VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022 Running Track Information

The VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022, Vietnam's leading professional race, owns a track that runs past special heritage sites and monuments in the capital of Hanoi. The track includes:

- A total of 20 Refreshment Points, 01 of them at the Start line and 01 at the Finish line.

- A total of 11 Cheering Points along the track, located right next to the RPs and operated by running clubs.

- A total of 11 medical stations, including 10 on the route and 01 at the Finish line plus medical experts on motorbikes.

- A total of 17 portable toilets placed on the track and 01 restroom at the Start/Finish area.

- A force of 460 Track Security Volunteers will be on duty to ensure runners will follow the right direction.

- Photographers will take position at 14 fixed points to capture runners' best moments, especially eight of them will man the Finish line and many others on the track.

Held annually since 2018, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors. VPBank Hanoi Marathon results can be used to qualify at any of the World Six Majors, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.

The Heritage Race system, owned and organized annually by DHA Vietnam, comprises of the VPBank Hanoi Marathon in October, the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon in November and the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race in December.
